1. Who we are

Stacks Data Hub is a service based in Ghana that lets customers buy mobile data bundles for MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo and have them delivered to a phone number of their choice. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at stacksdatahub.com and to your customer account.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account details: your name, phone number, email address and a password. We never store your password itself, only a scrambled form of it that cannot be read back.
  • Orders and wallet activity: the bundles you buy, the recipient phone numbers, amounts, dates, order status, and your wallet top-ups, refunds and balance.
  • Support messages: tickets and live chat messages you send us, and the contact details you give us in them. Visitors who ask for live chat before registering give us a name, phone number and email.
  • Referrals: if you use or share a referral code, we record who referred whom and the reward status.
  • Security records: the time and IP address of sign-ins and password resets, used to protect accounts and investigate abuse.

We do not collect or store your card number or card security code. Card and mobile money payments are handled by Paystack.

3. How we use it

  • To create and protect your account, and to verify your phone number and email with one-time codes.
  • To process and deliver your orders, keep your wallet balance correct, and issue refunds.
  • To send you messages about your account and orders, such as verification codes, order updates and support replies, by SMS and email.
  • To answer your support requests and chats.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access, and to meet our legal duties.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:

  • Paystack processes card and mobile money payments.
  • Our data supplier receives the recipient phone number and the bundle you ordered, so the data can be delivered.
  • Arkesel delivers our SMS messages, and Resend delivers our emails, so they receive the phone number or email address and the message text.
  • Our hosting provider stores the service and its database on servers in Europe, so your information may be processed outside Ghana.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our customers and our service from fraud or abuse.

5. Cookies and storage

We use one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the site to work and is not used for advertising or tracking. We also use your browser's temporary storage for small conveniences, such as remembering which tab you were on or whether the chat window was open. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

6. How we protect it

Our site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are stored in scrambled form. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to run the service, and sensitive actions in the admin area require an admin sign-in. No online service is completely risk-free, but we work to keep your information safe.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for accounting, dispute handling and legal reasons. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. You can also object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are first, and some records may have to be kept by law. If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, you can contact Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

9. Age

Stacks Data Hub is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a young person has given us their information, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service grows. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make important changes, we will let you know through the site or by message.

11. Contact us
